At the end of last year I was contacted by the Flint Hills Regional Council inquiring about using some of my work in their online and print materials.

It was a heavy overcast day so there would be no vast views with blue skies to be had. More intimate images were on my mind and that's what I would be concentrating on.

As much as we need to keep moving forward we must never forget our past for it is our greatest asset. Experiences build you into who you are and will become. Chose your experiences wisely and let them help bring a ray of sun into your life tomorrow or six years from now.

I wanted to visit the tall pines that I always see in the distance in the Big Shunga Park area. These pines have always garnered my attention and I have visited them during all times of the year.

Windy but pleasant outside here today. The cool breeze always seems to feel good.

The last few days have been a great time to get out and do a little new year walking. The weather has slowly warmed making most of the snow go bye bye.

Spending time making prints today getting ready for The Kansas Sampler Festival on May 3rd and 4th in Wamego, KS. What a great time this is going to be. Even though it is approximately 17 weeks away I need to get around 200 prints completed.
2013 A Year In Pictures
