The last few days have been a great time to get out and do a little new year walking. The weather has slowly warmed making most of the snow go bye bye. Lexi and I took our morning walk yesterday and strolled over to Shunga Park to enjoy the fresh crisp air. We had to check out one of the last remaining patches of snow.

The wind has really picked up today which will do a good job of drying things up. I’m looking forward to more winter time walks as long as the weather stays like this. It took me a while to get into the winter mode last month but now that I have I am still looking forward to more! At least a little more. There are so many aspects of winter that I enjoy. The air always seems more clear and for me anyway it seems to spark more life in my time outside. Might just be the need to move quicker to keep warm! No bugs, and great sunsets, wow what could be better! Now it’s just a matter of finding time to take advantage of all the great aspects of winter. No big hurry, I think we still have some time left, at least here in the plains.
