There is an area not far from where yesterdays daily photograph was taken that that also gathers some of the falling cottonwood leafs

The fall colors are beginning to come out, from the golden rod as in this shot to the tallgrasses covering the prairies and flint hills.
I'm not done with my grasses infatuation, for that matter I never will be
I have spent many many hours that have stretched into days then to weeks and chasing these grasses of late season prominence
