Textures

Adding textures to a photograph is similar to the paintography technique. At times they both may be used together. Textures can add a little or a lot of visual effect to certain images. Some greatly benefit from the addition of a texture or two. Others may not. Textures can include the appearace of physical items such as canvas, wood, rock, metals, or can be more abstract in their nature. As with paintography, finding those image that can be enhanced with the use of texture is an induvial decision for each image.
