Time never stands still

As I set here I have not looked at the date of my last blog post. At this point, it does not matter. All I know is that it was a long time ago. Why you may ask? Because I am human, and for a while now writing a blog post once or twice a month has not been that important to me. It’s really a poor damn excuse, but at age 62 I am not about to start making excuses for myself just to sound good. Personally, I have grown to despise excuses.

I do hope those in the world that have or will come across this post are doing well. Honestly, I have been doing just fine and over the past year or more realize I should be very thankful. Which I hope will continue to improve and become more apparent for many more years.

I have no plans to “pick up where I left off” as far as jumpstarting this blog. I am not necessarily looking for a “new start” either. I’m still basically the same person, just with new experiences and a few new thoughts on things.

When I say “things” I do mean photography, creativity, and living a more meaningful and deliberate life. The “meaningful and deliberate life” thing may just be my way of saying; To become a better photographer, I must become a better person. Which are individual and personal things for each one of us.

As I move forward and work on populating this blog with new content I will undoubtedly touch on many of these new thoughts and approaches.

With those little tidbits out of the way, let us all have a wonderful 2023!

The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
