This blue indigo is such a treat in spring time. The flint hills are covered with many flora delights this time of year but I find it hard not to point the camera towards the indigo. With its fast growth and height sticking above most others it truly becomes a gem of the prairies and flint hills.
I have shared photos of it before and don’t want to over do it, but I find it hard to ignore.
