Up kind of late getting today’s daily pic on. Hope no ones misses it. The good ‘ol Flint Hills.
Even though I’m sliding into spring mode rather quickly, it’s never a problem for me to share the beauty of the prairie lands. And it just doesn’t get any better that in a place like this. Image taken Feb. 28 of last year. I believe today would look almost exactly like this, snow on the dirt road and all. This spot is one of my favorite places to go and begin the process of connecting with nature and the Flint Hills.
In a month or so I will be walking the road heading back into the prairie. May look like a simple place but the more time one spends here the more magic of nature is revealed. After heavy rains there is even a waterfall along a creek a mile down the road.
