To continue with one more shot from a past trip to St. Louis no visit would be complete without a trip to the Gateway Arch, a very magnificent structure for sure.

My lovely bride and I made a trip to the Arch after dark so I could possible get a chance for some shots of this structure all lite up. This shot was taken standing on the edge of the pond that just to the north. Setting an aperture of f8 allowed for a 30 second exposure. I tried to keep the Arch and the full reflection in the frame and was barely able to do that at 18mm. The top of the Arch in the reflection is right up to the waters edge. I had the white balance set on auto which produced a color temp of 3950 which is very much down in the cool color range. But did produce this bronze type of color which I thought looked pretty cool.
