Another shot showing my spring fever coming out. An area of the flinthills recently burned off. 100’s of thousands if not millions of acres of the flinthills and tallgrass praires are burned each spring to help reduce unwanted shrubby growth plants and to enrich the bountiful tallgrass of the region. This is a scene that I had no idea existed until I popped up over a hill on this gravel road and this was my view. Without saying it is one of my favorite spots anytime of the year.
