Happy November everyone! Time sure does fly when your………. getting old, and having fun. I made it back from a busy trip down to Arkansas for a few days. Lots of driving to find places and lots of hiking once I found the places. I did manage to get in some photography in the midst of all that. The lands are pretty dry hardly any of the waterfalls had water running but I knew that ahead of time spring is waterfall season and fall is color season. I did manage to find a little water in a couple of places. This is a shot of Falling Water Creek in the Lower Richland Wilderness and when I say wilderness that is exactly what it is. I will share a few shots from the evening and morning of my overnight in this area. Almost 20 miles of dirt and rock mountain forestry roads just to get to the campground.
I liked the way the leaves in the water seem to help balance this image out. Emerald color water a classic sign of Arkansas.
This is gorgeous! Are my eyes playing tricks on me or did you Photoshop this to look more like a painting than a photograph?
Hi Jenni, thanks for the comment. I processed this using the Topaz Adjust plugin in photoshop, it added the contrast and detail to create this look. Many times I use this and then back it down but I liked the look of this as well.
