Out on our morning walk, Lexi and I were visiting an area of shunga park and of course I had my trusty Nikon p80 with me. Not a lot of interesting things going on in what was mostly a grassy area. But upon some closer looks I found a few pieces of bark from I believe was a birch tree that had blown off and lying around on the ground. The bark looked really cool to me, it was in the shade of a tree just waiting for someone take a picture. This is a close up taken with the camera in macro mode and about 8 inches away. Two seperate pieces showing front and back of the bark. Worked it up with a topaz adjust layer for this result.

I love finding these little photo opportunities just lying on the ground that seem to inspire my need to take pictures of.
