The rains we had most of last week kept me close to home for the most part. I returned to Shawnee Lake after the holiday weekend and roamed around an area that I use to visit regularly. It’s fun and somewhat insightful to visit any area that seems familiar as long as (and this is the important part) you can look at it in a different way.

Most of us aren’t fortunate enough to have a life of constant travel to new places so we have to accept what we have. There is nothing at all wrong with that and possibly a lot good with it. I believe it can teach us to learn to see, or as this blog refers to it, “Learning to focus”.

Don’t get bummed just because you have no new places to go, be excited because you will get to look for new opportunities in a familiar place.
