With out saying this is a squirrel paradise.
I can spend hours doing something as simple as looking at acorns.
There are many research projects that go on at Konza Prairie, none more important that the survival of our tallgrass prairies.
On this particular day I found a mix of prints on some sandy shore along a small creek close to home.
Over 200 head of bison live on part of the 8,600 acre Konza Prairie Biological Research Station.
