Enjoying the early spring view of the flint hills. Over 200 head of bison live on part of the 8,600 acre Konza Prairie Biological Research Station. A sight to behold any time of the year. I spent some time last spring in an area that had a few big bulls lounging around on some of the new spring growth of what was more than likely buffalo grass, go figure.
