This is not about an approval or even opinions of others. Photographs matter for this simple yet powerful reason.
I struggle with proper dialog in which to explain the importance of a photograph. It is not a frustrating struggle but one of continuous search.
It should be no surprise that the photographs created today will have an impact on our lives.
With all the information out there for those just starting in photography or those who have been doing it for years there is never a clear or concise answer as to, Why? Why do you take pictures? Why do you spend time looking at photos, working on photos, preparing photos, talking about photos, displaying photos, sharing... and the list goes on
