Gallery wraps are produced and stretched on a .75 inch depth stretcher frame. They are then mounted in our dark wood “Espresso” float frame with a total depth of 1.5″. Mounted to the framed from the back with spacing on all sides of the canvas, the canvas appears to float within the frame. We have found this elegant dark wood grained frame enhances any image it frames, goes with nearly any decor and provides a beautiful finished appearance to our canvas prints.
Crafted from a hard resin foam derived from recycled materials, these frames are an environmentally friendlier version of wood-based frames.
In fact, these floater frames look identical to the wood versions of the same frame moldings because they have the exact same veneers. The only substantive difference is in the weight of the frame molding. Framed canvas as large as 40×60 inches are still extremely light in weight and easily handled.
Your framed canvas finished size is based on the outside to outside frame dimensions. Comes complete with hanging wire and is ready hang the moment you get it. We believe you will love the look of our framed canvas.
