It’s always exciting to run across the unexpected in nature. It doesn’t have to be some exotic plant or animal or even things that are uncommon. When we let the simple pleasures of interacting with nature be our guide it’s amazing how the simple moments seem to bring extra pleasure.

Take this ornamental pear tree that I spent some time around. Nothing real exciting or uncommon. But the mornings soft light, the seasons brilliant colors and the small fruit hanging on tight all seemed to come together to offer extra viewing pleasure.

Do you take time to walk over to the simple views of nature and really look? Or do you just pass by making the comment, “that’s pretty”. An extra minute or two usually doesn’t cost us much when compared to getting close with our world.
