According to the calendar it is but, mother nature seems to be dictating exactly when spring will be. We have had a few days of 80 degrees the past couple of weeks but looking outside early this morning one would think we are still in winter mode. Snow covered the grassy areas and branches this morning as the nightly low dipped into the low 30’s, I almost felt sorry for all the robins that showed up a couple of weeks ago. Walking Lexi this morning we walked past many of them looking for something to eat while hopping around on the cold wet ground. I have no desire to get a final wintry image of the landscape so I will reminisce with images in the archive of warmer weather and greener times.

Great shot,Brad. I should know what kind of tree that is but I don’t. The combinations of colors in this is striking.
We haven’t had any 80 degree days and we have persistent snow on the ground that’s getting kinda old. High today – 30.
Thanks Ken, the trees in bloom are redbuds, yeah mostly more a lavender to purplish color but redbuds non the less. I didn’t examine the yellow wildflowers close enough to see exactly what they were but they did make for a nice contrast.
