Here’s another shot I made with the Fuji point and shoot while out walking Lexi. We had been walking through Shunga Park after a cold night that had frozen the small puddles on the ground. I always walk through an area of oak trees always on the lookout for leaves and acorns lying on the ground. This was made at the same spot where I have posted a previous daily pic of an oak leave pair frozen in this puddle. I worked this up using Topaz Adjust and it really intensifies the textures of the ice and bare ground.

A simple frozen puddle that holds such visual delights helps one to realize that natural beauty is virtually everywhere, if you just stop to look.
