Exploring the wooded areas any time of the year can be an excersise in surprises. From the woodland floors covered in foliage and leaves to the abundance of wildlife that live in these places.
I am always amazed at the detail in simple things, like tree bark, maybe it’s just my simple mind at work. Natural patterns are so vast on something we see everyday and pay no attention to.
This particular tree caught my attention for the crack that ran vertically on it. And like all good things when looked at closer produced more small wonders. In this case, a small spider who seemed to be enjoying the just standing over it. Maybe guarding it’s home.
Take a closer look at the everyday things you see and discover the surprises that await.
