I have mentioned Shunga Park across the street from my house on many occasions and rightfully so. The native grass restoration area has become a true pleasure and benefit for this locale. It’s and area that I will be spending much time in on a regular basis exploring all the new flora life that is doing exceptionally well.
I have seen many purple cone flowers out on the prairies and flint hills, but none as big as what I am finding in the Big Shunga Park area. The folks involved in native grass restoration project deserve a big thank you from all.
