Happy June 2010! I thought a fitting way to begin this month would be a picture that included “June Grass”.
Along with the bountiful wildflowers this spring has produced the grasses of the prairies and plains are growing like crazy! This is an image of the June Grass forming it’s seed heads along with the purplish blue blooms of the Wild Alfalfa.
This is a great time to go explore the prairies of Kansas.
