A typical scene for many rural area, this may not have been a shot I would have taken if it weren’t for the windy conditions. I experimented with various shutter speeds for the blowing grasses in the foreground. Most of the time I seem to fight the wind always thinking it is preventing me from capturing a scene the way I want. I don’t know why I fight mother nature like that, it is so much easier to just except the conditions and use them in the creative process. I should have many opportunities here in Kansas and on the prairies to practice what I’m preaching.
