A follow up of yesterday DP, this is of another cypress I spent some time around. This tree has no lower branches and has what appears to be creeper growing up the side. One of the few things taking on some nice fall color. Simple processing again with the addition of a slight Orton effect also. Taken again with the G11, it’s really been nice to have such a quality point and shoot when out doing something such as walking the dog, nice to be able to grab shots like this in a snap.
There are a couple more of these cypress that I made shots of just the neat trunks of and will probably make more, I will try to share some of those also on the DP.
From what’s shown in this photo, that looks like poison ivy and not Virginia creeper. It is beautiful this time of year, though. Just don’t take it home for a nice fall leaf arrangement or anything.
Hi Jenni, thanks for your comment, I did notice the leaves I focused on does look like “leaves of 3” but most have 5 leaves, but hey I didn’t touch any just in case!
Beautifully done Brad! I love the way this photo ‘glows’.
Thanks Scott, I really enjoy making shots like this.
