The tall mountain aspens of Colorado kept me busy for much of the time during hikes, from a distance they seem to be just ordinary trees but when up close they become vibrant masters of the land. This was taken at around 10,000 feet very close to Kebler pass. Even though I had bright clear skies I was very happy with many of the shots that set the colors against such a beautiful sky.
