A view from some of the wilderness I spent time in. Hiking through these areas provided many scenes such as this, the leaf covered woodland floor surrounded by the hardwoods and colorful variations of fall. The smaller dogwoods were still showing brilliant colors of reds, yellows and oranges. this shot was taken in mid-morning when the sun helped to light up the colors of the land. Simple processing was all that was needed to this shot as the trees helped to frame the brighter dogwood in the background.
