We Take The Time

To Stand & Stare

“The love of wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth, the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only paradise we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need, if only we had the eyes to see.” ― Edward Abbey

For many years I have wondered why more people don’t stand and stare at the natural world. Sure, there are those of you who do. But there seem to be many more who do not.

Are we to busy with living to understand what living is about? Do we undervalue the vastness of life that surrounds us everyday? I don’t have the answers, but I do have the desire. The desire to enjoy, experience, and capture as much of our world that my short time here will allow.

I hope you can come along.
