I had fun walking around Gage Park a few days ago on a pleasant afternoon. The color in the trees hanging on here in the more urban areas. Lots of big oaks dot the grounds of the park, used to picnic under and provide much needed shade in the summer. I have enjoyed shooting even on the bright clear days this fall and have been doing a lot of standing under trees and trying to get back lighting of the sun to really bring out the colors. Again the little G11 with it’s swivel lcd screen makes these shots a snap, I don’t even have to bend my neck to get them.
