Taken with my Fuji FinePix point & shoot standing next to my house looking at the ice cycles hanging from the guttering. I knew I had to knock them down but had to grab the camera and take shot first.

The sky was blue and everything seemed to have that blue cast to it so I worked this up in cs4 and applied a b&w adjustment layer to it. I adjusted it so the tree were silhouetted and the sky stayed a little darker also.

I watched these ice cycles form over a 2 day period. Late afternoon I watched one of the bigger ones grow over 6 inches in just a few hours. The longest one was about 3 feet long. But they had to go, way to much wait hanging off the guttering. Until next time.
