Another view of the fungi covered log I found on during my woodland hike. Tried to find different ways to photograph it. It was in a somewhat open area compared to the surrounding dense woodland so besides closeups I was able to get this laid out view. But only with the aid of something like my Nikon P80 or any other small camera that you can easy hold point and shoot with one hand while not being able to see what you pointing it at. I would have been very difficult and time consuming to set up the tripod and maneuver my dslr into this position. Of course not impossible but I would have been there awhile. Point and shoot gota love it.
