The skies of the winter season are some of the most wonderful of the year. The clean crisp are seem to make for great colors and formations.
This is a shot taken recently while out in the Flinthills waiting on the sunset. It pays to pay close attention to all of your surroundings. Taking a moment to look in all directions especially during sunrise and sunset times can offer a little of the unexpected and new photography options.
I liked the pinkish hues of these clouds against the darkening blue which were in the northern sky moments before sunset.
