Getting this on here late today. Long day on the road with training and family duties thrown in between. Started the day heading to Konza Prairie Education Center for the first session of the annual docent training. Nice to see so many experienced docents returning for refreshers and to aid in sharing their experiences on the tallgrass prairie with new trainees for this year. I will be talking more about that as the spring season progress.

The afternoon took me south to Emporia to spend time with my youngest son who’s birthday is coming up on Monday. So all in all I had a really good day, just on the go most of it.

This daily pic image was taken at the time I took the macro of the bolt head on the foot bridge. These lichen that grow on this iron I just find fascinating. The P80 really done well with these macro shots.

Weathers not looking great for being out much tomorrow, might give me a chance to right some thoughts here and share some interesting pictures I took today before I left Emporia. Here’s a hint of what I shoot. They are not nature and they were taken indoors. I don’t know why I’m attempting to tease anyone with this. I visited an antique store and asked to walk around and take photographs. It was fun. Sharing tomorrow.
