May apples seem to be one of the most abundant wildflowers in these parts. I don’t believe there is a stretch of woodland that isn’t covered in some area of these spring beauties. This is the stage their are in at the present, and if the spring is any sign of how the numbers will turn out, blooms should be everywhere within a few weeks.

I will spend some dedicated time with these again this year. The delicate blooms though wonderful and make for great fine art photography can be hard to capture when fighting the constant winds we always have. As with everything, you never until you try.
